Rena Sofer

  

Rena Sherel was born on December 2nd, 1968, is an American actress. She is most well-known for her work on daytime television, guest appearances and made for television movies. Sofer was recognized with an Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for her performance as Lois Cerullo on the soap show General Hospital. She played Quinn Fuller on the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful from 2013 to 2022.




 Early life


 Sofer was the daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau) and an Orthodox Rabbi as well as Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau).




 She and her brother David along with her father to Teaneck (New Jersey) in 1970. However, Sofer lived in Western Pennsylvania as a youngster. The family was brought up in Ambridge, Pennsylvania by their father, Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She attended the Frisch School, a coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish highschool in Paramus (New Jersey). Sofer lived in North Bergen, New Jersey and her father was rabbi of synagogue Temple Beth El. She graduated from North Bergen High School, and then went to Montclair State College.




 Career


 Daytime television


 Lois Marie Cerullo was Lois Marie Sofer's first role in General Hospital. Her first appearance came in 1993 as a band manager. However, her first high-profile role was Rocky McKenzie on the daytime soap opera Loving (1988-91).
